Team Advisor(s)/Chaperone Information
** Please remember, per Competition Rules and Regulations, if the team is mixed gender, then the Team must send 1 adult male advisor or chaperone (age 21 or older) to chaperone any male team members and 1 adult female advisor or chaperone (age 21 or older) to chaperone any female team members. Teams without adequate supervision will be ineligible to attend the NCF-Envirothon annual competition.
It is the responsibility of the Team and their sponsoring state, provincial, or partner nation Envirothon program to ensure adequate supervision is provided that meets this requirement!**

Team Information and Team Captain Designation
Please list each of the 5* Team Members and designate one (1) to act as Team Captain.
* Please note, per Section V.2. of the NCF-Envirothon Rules and Regulations: Teams with fewer than 5 members at the 2023 NCF-Envirothon Competition are allowed to attend and participate in all competition activities (including testing and oral presentations), but are NOT eligible for awards or recognition. Such teams will compete as exhibition only.

Team Member Substitutions - Optional
Team Advisors - you may designate up to two (2) additional students who will serve as Team Substitution Candidates. In the event an emergency or unresolvable time conflict prevents one or two of original five-member team from competing at the 2023 NCF-Envirothon New Brunswick Competition, then 1 of the substitution candidates can step in to compete.
Designation of Substitution Candidates is optional, but be advised that NO team member substitutions will be made if they are not designated before the Team Registration Deadline (June 10). If substitution candidates were not designated at that time, in the event an emergency prevents one of the original team members from attending, then no substitution will be made. The remaining team members may still attend the 2023 NCF-Envirothon New Brunswick Competition, but they will participate/compete as exhibition only and not be eligible for prizes or awards.
To designate Substitution Candidates, please enter their names below AND have them complete the Individual Team Member Registration form before the Registration Deadline!
Please Note:- • Substitution candidates will NOT attend the NCFE annual competition as a student participant unless they are needed to replace an original team member.
- • Substitution candidates must meet ALL of the following criteria in order to be considered:
- a. Must be enrolled in grades 9 -12 and reach age 14 – 19 at the start of the current year’s competition. Non-traditional schools and youth organizations must follow the grade level and age limitations as set above.
- b. Must be from the same school, non-traditional school, or youth organization as the original competing team.
- c. Must have participated in an Envirothon program/training prior to their state/provincial/partner nation Envirothon competition in order to compete at the NCFE Annual Competition.
- d. Must be affiliated with their local conservation district or equivalent sponsoring organization/agency.
- e. Must complete all official team member registration forms by the set registration deadline.
- f. Must read, agree to, and sign the NCFE Rules and Regulations and Student Code of Conduct by the set registration deadline.

Training Session Assignments
On Training Day (July 24th), teams will attend Training Sessions covering the 5 Areas of Study (Stations).
There will be three (3) training Sessions in total. Each will be 90 minutes in length and each round of a particular subject will cover the exact same content.
Each team member will be assigned a Session group that will visit 3 Stations. At each Station, team members are encouraged to take notes (notebooks will be provided) and ask questions during the designated time. They will be able to share their notes with the whole team at the Team Study Session that evening.
Advisors - Please assign one team member per Station for each of the 3 Sessions below.
Note:- Team members cannot repeat a station, and two team members should not be at the same station at the same time.
